Studio Policy

Lesson Schedule and Attendance:

1. Lessons will be scheduled in advance and will be held on a weekly basis.
2. It is the responsibility of the student (or parent/guardian, if applicable) to arrive on time for each lesson.
3. If a student needs to reschedule a lesson, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required (Exceptions can be made for illness or other unplanned circumstances).
4. If a student doesn’t show up to a scheduled lesson, that lesson credit is forfeit.
5. Students under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian that is welcome to either sit in on the lesson or wait outside the lesson in the waiting area. 

Tuition and Fees:

1. Lessons are sold as a bundle of 4.  
2. Payment is due before the first lesson of each new bundle.   
3. Payments can be made by venmo, cash, or check.
4. Lessons missed without prior notice or less than 24 hours’ notice will not be refunded or rescheduled (Exceptions can be made for illness or other unplanned circumstances). 
5. If proper notice is given, lessons can be rescheduled.
6. Fees are as follows:
   1. 4 x 60 minute lessons = $240
   2. 4 x 30 minute lessons = $140

Cancellations and Make-up Lessons:

1. If the instructor needs to cancel a lesson, a make-up lesson will be scheduled at a mutually convenient time.
2. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as severe weather conditions or instructor illness, the studio will notify students as soon as possible to reschedule the lesson.

Studio Etiquette:

1. Students are expected to arrive on time, prepared, and ready for their lesson.
2. Respectful behavior towards the instructor, other students, and studio property is mandatory.

Practice and Progress:

1. Regular practice is essential for progress. Students are encouraged to practice a minimum of 2 hours per week or 20 minutes a day.
2. Students are responsible for bringing their own instrument to each lesson, unless other arrangements have been made with the instructor.
